The help desk was created as a quality
innovation by our works officer, Estates Officer, Mr Peter J Howell.
It proved to be very successful and was soon adopted throughout the
District and led to Peter receiving first prize in the Quality initiative
awards.The feedback from the wards and departments was very warming
and the productive capabilities of the dept was noticeably improved
. The Move to The Royal Glamorgan Hospital from The East Glamorgan Hospital
was a testing time, but the Help Desk Held its own. The result was such
that the Estates Dept and the rest of the Royal Glamorgan Hospital pulled
together as a team and overcome A multitude of problems related to settling
in process after the move.
